Thank you for being willing to Host an Artist!

This survey is designed to help pair local Fringe supporters interested in providing housing with PortFringe Artists who are traveling from other states and countries and need housing for some duration of time between June 12 and June 22, 2019.
 
First off: THANK YOU. Your hospitality is what enables PortFringe to feature artists from all over the United States and beyond!
 
Hosts are responsible for providing homes that are clean (some clutter is fine of course!), free of pests, and with suitable sleeping accommodations. Artists are responsible for their good behavior as well as their own transportation and food. PortFringe is responsible for making housing matches based on details collected from Artists and Hosts through these housing surveys. 
 
Some Artists request housing for just a few days -- but as PortFringe has grown, most of our traveling Artists are seeking housing for most if not all of the festival week. 

To ensure that we are able to provide a stable, consistent and welcoming experience for our Artists, and not have them bouncing from place to place all week, PortFringe will reward your generosity with event invitations, festival swag, and free show passes, detailed below:
 
 
  1. PortFringe Hosts able to accommodate Artists for the entire festival (June 12 - June 22, 2019) will receive priority seating and THREE VIP/Super Passes to the 2019 PortFringe festival. Each of these passes is good for ONE member of your household (or a friend, family member or other Fringe Fan) to use, and will allow the passholder to move to the front of our general admission seating queue for each show you'd like to attend. A note of clarification: Very few artists request the ENTIRETY of the festival. It is more likely that an Artist will request up to 8 or 9 nights at the most. PortFringe will provide this "full week" benefit to any Host who is WILLING to host for the entire festival, and is matched with an Artist for a period of at least 8 nights). 
  2. PortFringe Hosts able to accommodate Artists for home stays of 6-7 nights will receive priority seating, ONE VIP/Super Pass and ONE 9-Show Pass to the 2019 PortFringe festival. 
  3. PortFringe Hosts able to accommodate Artists for home stays of 4-5 nights will receive TWO 9-Show Passes (no priority seating). 
  4. PortFringe will gladly provide free passes (specifics to be determined based on housing availability and artist requests) for shorter homestays! If you are interested in hosting, but only able to accommodate one or two nights, or several non-consecutive nights - please also fill out the following survey - especially if you are able to host between June 12-16, or between June 20-21. You may be the person who is able to help an Artist by filling in any gaps with available housing.

PortFringe Touring Artists are coming from many places of origin this year -- including Canada, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, South Carolina, Iowa, Boston (and other New England locations), Florida and Alaska. Our artists fall into a broad and beautifully diverse representation of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, etc.  Some of them are new to Fringe touring, and some are veteran touring artists with many successful homestay experiences in other Festival cities around the country and world. We have every expectation any of these artists will be good guests in your home. Please tell us anything you think we would need to know when attempting to match an Artist homestay with you. 

All of your answers will be kept in strictest confidence and will be used SOLELY for the purposes of making a successful match between you and a touring Artist.
