About the K-12 Without Racism Focus Groups
Kindergarten to Grade 12 Without Racism is a parent and caregiver-led project by the Centre for Family Equity to address systemic racism in BC’s public education system. So far, we have heard from 104 Indigenous and racialized parents across BC through an anonymous survey.
In Year 2 of this project, we are running Focus Groups about BC schools’ responses and accountability for racism in schools.
These 90-minute online or in-person focus groups are open to any Indigenous or racialized parent with child/ren currently in the K-12 public system in BC. Those selected for the focus groups will receive a $100 honorarium. Focus groups will be confidential; we will not collect or share any private or identifying information.
