Johns Island Park - Greenbelt Survey

The City of Charleston has requested Greenbelt funds to purchase 11.25-acres of land adjacent to the existing Johns Island Park for the future expansion of recreational opportunities to serve the Citizens of the City and Charleston County. The property is currently zoned for residential and general office use, and would allow up to 66 homes to be constructed. If the City receives approval through the Greenbelt program to purchase the property, plans for the future uses of the new park space will be developed following a public input process, so we need your support!
