Funding awarded will be transferred to your UNC account. All funding must be reported by the Hussman School to the UNC Office of Scholarships and Student Aid and may affect your financial aid. Funds may have tax implications.

Funds for a summer experience will be issued to your student account during the summer session. If you choose to enroll in summer courses, awards could impact your summer financial aid package. If you are not enrolled in summer classes and do not have an account balance, you will receive the entirety of the award as a refund.

Funding may be used solely for activities as described in your application. If you don't undertake the activity described, funding will not be awarded.
