Women In Tech Ops (WITOps)

The Jerk Project, as we lovingly call it, is our newest research to understand which exact behaviors really matter for creating a positive working experience. Women often state, and our research confirms, that women may not feel valued or heard. Women say that men—whether managers or teammates—are too often bro’s or jerks. But what behavior creates the experience of value? What behavior is that of a jerk? For this project we will do field interviews of people early in their career to understand which behaviors are experienced as valuing and which might be named “jerk” behavior. Using the data we’ll generate interventions
