The GENIVI Alliance, with the help of several of its members, has kicked off a strategy to discuss and define standard interfaces that bridge multiple vehicle software domains like safety, IVI, and consumer electronics.

During previous workshops, GENIVI identified four priority project topics to address in the early stages of the strategy including:

·        Graphics Sharing & Distributed HMI Compositing
·        Developing or Extending Hypervisor APIs
·        Determining Preferred Generic Communication Protocols
·        User Input Distribution and Coordination.

The purpose of this survey is to invite participation in these four projects and to also gather any other project topics that stakeholders believe should be addressed.
