Invitation to NASA-SPACE Day 
Wheeling Jesuit University will be hosting the fourth annual NASA-SPACE Day on April 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. NASA-SPACE Day is a collaborative effort between the NASA West Virginia Space Grant Consortium, Bethany College, West Liberty University, Wheeling-Jesuit University, the SMART-Center, NASA IV&V Facility, and the state-wide student organization Student Partnership for the Advancement of Cosmic Exploration (SPACE).

This event is ideal for schools, the general public, and community centers, and has hands-on interactive activity stations with experiments, games, and make-and-take projects designed to engage the interest of all ages. Below are a few of the events that will occur are outlined below:

- The Challenger Learning Center on the campus of Wheeling Jesuit University will provide a unique learning experience designed to inspire the next generation of explorers. Some participants will have a chance to be transformed into astronauts, scientists, engineers, and researchers all working together to explore the "Red Planet."
- Various presentations by the SMART-Center about space and life
- NASA IV&V Facility will be providing bottle rocket launches and robotic experience to participants.
- Two talks by NASA related scientists will be given about Mars and Cassini
- High school and college student level research poster displays
