SCORING IN SQUASH – what are your views?

12% of survey complete.
There is a proposal that all squash should move to PAR scoring to 11? This is your sport, your views count.

The Management Committee of the World Squash Federation (WSF) has drafted a motion for the Federation’s AGM on 18th October that point-a-rally scoring (PAR) to 11 be the sport’s sole scoring system.

This survey has been designed to address the issues involved in such a radical move, in particular those covered in the motion, and its results will be representative of the views of players worldwide.

The survey has the support of many associations and the results will be presented to the WSF and its member nations for consideration in the debate at the AGM. Respondents can obtain a copy of the results.

The essential question is: should PARS to 11 be compulsory for all play or should the associations and players wishing to use traditional hand-in, hand-out scoring be allowed to continue doing so?

Articles relating to the proposed change – for and against – can be found on www.squashplayer.co.uk/rules.

To count towards the results presented at the WSF AGM 18th October, your completed survey must be received by 10th October.

You may fill out the survey only once.
