Submission

Worcester County residents are invited to nominate individuals, organizations, and businesses for the 2019 Volunteer Spirit of Worcester County Awards. The awards recognize Worcester residents who have provided significant volunteer contributions in Worcester County communities for service occurring in 2018.
Eligibility:
-The nominated volunteer must benefit citizens and have a positive influence that addresses a community problem or enhance the quality of life in Worcester County.
-For the individual nominations, the nominated volunteer service must be performed outside the context of the nominees' paid employment(i.e., it cannot be part of his/her job)
-Groups, teams, and organizations must have been operational for two years to be eligible for a volunteer service award.
-Individuals or groups should not be nominated for their financial contributions or fundraising, political advocacy, roles as members of a board of directors, or in any other oversight or administrative roles in the nominating agency.
-Recipient of Volunteer Spirit of Worcester county award winners since 2013 may not be nominated
-Self-nominations or nominations of family members/spouses will not be accepted.
