Thank you for sharing your perspective. This survey is part of Michigan Disability Rights Coalition’s assessment to better understand how service providers support individuals in accessing assistive technology (AT) across Michigan.
'AT' means tools or devices that help with daily life that includes low tech options like a long handled shoe horn or grab bar to high tech options like using an Alexa device for reminders, a video magnifier, or an electric assist bike. The video below shares additional examples of assistive technology at home, work, and school.
We are gathering input on awareness, access, and barriers to assistive technology. Your feedback will help to identify opportunities to improve provider training, resources, and system connections.
Participation is voluntary, you may skip any question you do not want to answer, and the survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential and will only be reported in summary to identify trends and improvement opportunities to increase access to assistive technology.
