North Saint Louis County Survey Regarding Current Public Transportation Experiences

Thank you for completing this brief and crucial survey to help St. Louis Metropolitan Alliance for Reliable Transit (SMART) get a better understanding of your authentic experiences using the current public transportation options available to you in your area of residence or work in North County.

As a thank you for participating, you will have the chance to opt into a drawing to receive a prize valued at $50. The final question is where you will input your name, email, and prize preference if interested. There will be two winners randomly selected.

2.Have you been personally impacted by the Metro service cuts in North County that were announced in February 2023, and were implemented April 10, 2023?(Required.)
3.If you have been personally impacted by the service cuts, what transportation options are you utilizing to get to work, school, appointments, family/friends, ETC? (Please check all options that apply for you)
4.If you were not impacted, what has your public transportation experience been like? Has service been consistent? Please provide your thoughts.
5.If Metro Transit restored fixed route bus (MetroBus) routes in your area, how likely would you be to use them?
6.For those who utilize Via Metro STL, would you like to see the service expanded to be able to get to other areas of St. Louis as a microtransit option?
7.How important is it to you to get the service restored in North County that has been impacted for over three years?(Required.)

9.What fixed route bus (MetroBus) or MetroLink route or routes have been impacted for you personally? Please provide the route number if possible and the name of the route in addition to your experience. If you mainly ride Call-A-ride Paratransit have you been impacted by the service area cuts? Please explain.

11.Part-time drivers are being hired at Metro to meet the demand of trips. The more drivers Metro can hire the more service can be expanded. Anyone interested or does anyone know of someone who could be a good fit? There are in-person hiring events as well as the online application open anytime.
