Horizontal Violence Among Nurses And Patient Safety Culture
Dear Participant,
We invite you to participate in a research study entitled: Relationship between horizontal violence among nurses and patient safety culture in governmental Jordanian hospitals.
The study aims to answer the following question: what is the relationship between nurses’ perceptions of patient safety culture and their perceptions of horizontal violence in governmental hospitals in Jordan? Specifically, the study aims to: 1. Assess the perceived level of patient safety culture among nurses working in governmental hospitals in Jordan. 2. Identify the perceived incidence and severity of horizontal violence among nurses working in governmental hospitals in Jordan. 3. Assess whether a significant relationship exists between the level of perceived patient safety culture and the perceived incidence of horizontal violence among nurses in governmental hospitals in Jordan.
Your participation in this study is totally optional and privacy of the information you provide will be highly secured. The answers are confidential, and results of the survey will be analyzed and reported statistically as a group and your individual answers cannot be identified.
Data from this research will be kept under lock and key and reported only as a collective combined total. No one other than the researchers will know your individual answers to this questionnaire.
