Overview:

The Mining Journal World Risk Report (feat. Minehutte ratings) incorporates jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction ratings, methodically and scientifically compiled by combining ‘hard risk’ ratings with ‘risk perception’. 'Risk perception' is measured by our World Risk Survey.

The inaugural WRR in 2017 was a major success with 85 mining-jurisdiction ratings globally. Last year, 96 jurisdictions were rated. For 2019, we are committed to rating more than 100 jurisdictions and, as a valued reader of Mining Journal or one of our global mining news sister titles, we invite you to complete the 2019 survey (about 4-5 minutes) and contribute to this important resource for the international mining industry.

Please only rate jurisdictions where you have direct experience and can take an informed view.

Once the jurisdiction ratings have been completed, respondents are asked to provide more general business and operating risk ratings without discriminating geographically, in order to establish broader risk trends (about 2-3 minutes).

While respondents will remain anonymous and details kept confidential, if you register your email at the end of the survey you will receive a digital version of the report summary 7 days prior to the full release, in September 2018.

Thank you in advance for taking the Mining Journal World Risk Survey for 2019!
