Judicial Applicant Evaluation - Due March 6, 2026

The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission is responsible for evaluating all applicants for judicial vacancies in the District of Columbia Court system and recommending three applicants for each vacancy to the President of the United States for consideration.  The Commission invites comments from the bench, bar, and community on each of the individuals listed on our website (and in the drop-down menu provided in Question 1).  Each has applied for a current vacancy on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.  If you wish to provide comments for more than one applicant, please separately complete a survey for each.  You may also provide comments by letter, should you wish to do so.  Comments received become part of the applicant's confidential file, and will not be released to the public or the applicant, unless you consent to such release.  The content of comments may be discussed with an applicant but, absent your consent, the Commission will not reveal the identity of the individual providing the comment.
