The Houston Methodist Neurological Institute invites graduate students and postdocs to submit abstracts for poster and oral presentations at the 4th HMNI Annual Neuroscience Graduate Students Symposium.

Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters on Friday, April 24, 2026, during the symposium, with five outstanding abstracts selected for oral presentations. The poster session serves as a platform to discuss innovations and discoveries across various aspects of neuroscience research.

The Review Committee will evaluate the scientific quality of submitted abstracts, and award recognition will be presented by the committee at the adjournment of the Symposium.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
  1. Font: 11-pt Arial
  2. Title: Capitalize only the first word and proper nouns
  3. Authors: First name, middle initial (optional), last name; underline the presenting author
  4. Institution/Affiliation: List for all authors (department details not required)
  5. Presenting Author’s Status: Indicate as undergraduate, graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, PI, etc.
  6. Presentation Format: Select one: oral presentation, oral presentation or poster, poster only
  7. Abstract Text: 250-word limit (excluding title, authors, and affiliations)
