Its purpose is to compare your taste and swallow before and after having had a laryngectomy.
The results will be published in medical and food science journals and used to develop special chocolates customised for the laryngectomy community.
This project is in collaboration with Dominique Persoone (The Chocolate Line, Bruges), Bernard Lahousse (Foodpairing) and Dr Thomas Moors (Shout at Cancer) and is supported by Prof M. Brichal (Patron NALC), NALC and Atos Medical.
