Stakeholder Survey
Dear Stakeholder
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
Photovoltaic (PV) systems have been identified as a rapidly growing e-waste stream in future years with insufficient management options to safely dispose of end-of-life equipment across Australia. PV system components present potential risks to the environment and human health if not managed safely at end-of-life.
Sustainability Victoria has engaged Equilibrium (supported by Ernst & Young) to undertake this assessment. Equilibrium is approaching key players across the supply chain to get up to date input into the assessment.
The term “PV systems” includes PV panels, inverter equipment and PV system accessories such as energy storage systems (ESS) for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
Data, information and insights gathered through the project will be used to support the development of a national product stewardship approach.
The information gathered will greatly assist Sustainability Victoria and the national working group to understand the breadth of the Australian PV sector, as well as provide important information that will inform an options feasibility analysis for possible progression of a national program.
Any information you provide will be shared with Sustainability Victoria on a confidential basis.
The survey will take you approximately 5 minutes to complete. The deadline for completing the survey is COB Monday 27th August 2018.
Please contact Nick Harford from Equilibrium if you have any queries about the survey or the wider project: nick@equil.com.au
Thank you.
