2025 Bill McClure Award

AWARD DESCRIPTION
The Bill McClure Award Award recognizes a individual or department who has demonstrated outstanding professional development leadership service to CEANY, their college/university and/or their community.
CRITERIA
1. To be considered for nomination individuals must be active members in good standing* who have consistently demonstrated their dedication to advancing the organization's goals of promoting, supporting, and advocating for the professional development of its members.
*Member in good standing is defined as: current paid membership and attendance at a minimum of two CEANY events since the November prior- can include the annual conference and a PD webinar and/or CEANY Chat session.
Applications are Due: Extended- September 19th, 2025

2.Please provide to us a description, no more than 1000 words, of how the nominated person or department has demonstrated outstanding leadership service to CEANY, the college/university and/or the community within the field of adult, continuing, and/or workforce development. 

If awarded, the funds must be used to support the awardee’s or department staff’s professional development. Please include in your essay response how you or the division, intends to use these funds and the proposed impact for them, their team, their college/university and CEANY.
