Terroir and wine business practices

We would be grateful if you could respond to this survey about your wine business and your views of terroir for a PhD student research study. The survey will take 10 to 15 minutes. This research will help establish how important terroir is for wineries and whether it provides sustainability and financial benefits. Please read the following information and click the 'Next' button at the bottom of the page to start the survey.
Researcher: I am Guy Leedon, a PhD student at the Research School of Management in the College of Business and Economics at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra.

Description and Methods: I am investigating if and how ideas about terroir influence the adoption of environmental agricultural and business practices by surveying around 200 wine businesses in France and Australia.

Use of Data and Feedback: I will use the information from the surveys for a scientific paper and for part of my PhD thesis. I will provide a summary report to participating wine businesses, regional wine bodies and Wine Australia, and other interested industry and research groups.

Voluntary Participation & Withdrawal: Your participation in this project is voluntary and you may, without negative consequences, decline to take part or withdraw from the research for any or no reason at any time until the work is prepared for publication. You may also refuse to answer any questions. If you withdraw, your responses will be deleted and not used.

What does participation entail? This survey covers your business structure, non-specific financial information, your views of terroir and your vineyard and winery management practices.

Location and Duration: This is an online survey that will take 10 to 15 minutes.

Confidentiality: The information you provide in the survey will remain anonymous or confidential as far as possible. No identifying information is asked for. When publishing results, I will only report general and non-identifiable information.
