1. Special Heritage Work - Nomination Form

This award is open to any person/s or work that makes a contribution to conserving, recording, promoting or understanding the heritage of the City of Canada Bay. Works can include but are not limited to art work, written materials, publications, heritage studies, historical research, or other contributions to heritage awareness and the conservation of Canada Bay's heritage.

WHY IS HERITAGE IMPORTANT?
Heritage consists of those places and objects that we as a community have inherited from the past and want to hand on to future generations. Our heritage gives us a sense of living history and provides a physical link to the work and way of life of earlier generations. It enriches our lives and helps us to understand who we are today.

Council values the work of the community in promoting and conserving our community.
