Subwatershed studies are an important part of the land-use planning process. They provide detailed input on natural systems including watercourses, wetlands and groundwater. They also provide an environmental context to the planning of urban areas.

The Robinson and Tooley Creek Subwatershed Study will inform the preparation of a number of land use plans, including the Southeast Courtice Secondary Plan and the Southwest Courtice Secondary Plan. The study will provide recommendations for the protection and enhancement of environmental features that can be implemented through the secondary planning process.

Input from the community is important throughout the study to provide background information, identify issues of concern, and help guide further analysis.

The survey will close on Friday, December 20, 2019.
