We want to hear from you

Eastern Riverina Arts are working with agencies to assist our creative community with drought & bushfire recovery.

If you are an artist, a creative business, or part of a cultural group, museum or gallery in the Eastern Riverina Arts region and have experienced an impact or loss as a result of the recent bushfires or the ongoing drought, we want to hear from you.

We also ask that arts organisations and schools let us know their needs in relation to carrying on workshops and arts education. If you are a cultural tour guide or the keeper of a cultural place, please also complete the survey.

Eastern Riverina Arts will confidentially collate information to pass on to other agencies and assist in evaluating and assessing the needs of our creative community. We hope this will lead to assistance that is genuinely useful to you.

We appreciate that the current situations are not over and we understand that it will be a long road to recovery.

Examples of loss may include materials or instruments, infrastructure, portfolios, collections or bodies of work.
Lost time, energy, and economic support are equally important to note - they are very real impacts and we want to ensure decisionmakers appreciate how these fires impact the work you do.

At this stage, this is not an offer of direct assistance, but any information you can provide will help agencies determine what is the best way to help you get back on your feet. Hopefully it will speed up the process.

We also encourage you to sign up to our mailing list (info below) so that we can inform you of assistance programs as they become available.

Eastern Riverina Arts recognise how essential our creative communities are to the recovery of affected communities, and will lobby all levels of government to consider arts and cultural support as part of their recovery efforts.

Please contact us on exec@easternriverinaarts.org.au or ph. 6921 6890 if you wish to discuss anything directly. Thank you for your time.
