Scottish ClubSport Award Nominations 2026

* 1. These awards are to recognise the significant impact that local people have had on their local sports communities.

The space below will allow you to nominate in four categories:

- Service to Sport
This award is to recognise the significant contribution made by volunteers to grassroots sports over 15+ years. This award recognises someone who has made significant contribution over many years within a Sports Council, ClubSport Network, and/or club setting. Their selfless efforts and commitment to the growth of community sport deserves recognition. In addition to celebrating their remarkable contributions, we will also highlight and acknowledge the unique qualities and distinctive approach they have brought to their work, setting them apart as truly exceptional.

You may wish to nominate someone on your committee, a volunteer within your membership or your local Service to Sport recipient.

- ClubSport Network & Sports Council of the Year
This award is to recognise the ongoing support that the Sports Council & ClubSport Network has provided to its members. This award is open to nominations that recognise the adaptations, new approaches and additional support that Sports Councils & ClubSport networks have delivered over the last 12 months. We wish to recognise the contributions that have improved the sports community, whether they be new programmes, improved resources, or outstanding leadership, we will celebrate the nominees' efforts to go beyond the ordinary and will highlight the positive impact that they have had on their local community.

You may nominate your own or another ClubSport Network or Sports Council.

- Young Leader of the Year (18-25)
This award is to recognise the significant contribution made by a young person (aged 18-25) or a group of young people (aged 18-25) to grassroot, school, community or club sport. We encourage you to nominate those who have demonstrated exceptional passion, dedication, and leadership in their involvement in sports. Their enthusiasm and positive influence serve as an inspiration to others, fostering a vibrant and inclusive sports culture. Their amazing inventiveness, uniqueness, and other unparalleled attributes that set them apart as real role models will also be highlighted.

You may wish to consider nominating a young leader who was recognised in your local awards evenings.

- Club of the Year
This award is to recognise the achievements of a local club who has gone above and beyond to support its members, volunteers, coaches, community and more. We encourage you to nominate clubs who are members of your local Sports Council/ClubSport Network and who have delivered innovative projects, created new partnerships, achieved in their sport and gone above and beyond.

You may wish to consider nominating a club who was recognised in your local awards evenings.
