Thank you for engaging with the BCI Board nomination process. You’re invited to nominate yourself or a colleague whose leadership, experience, and values you believe would strengthen the Institute and serve our global community.
As part of our commitment to transparency and informed decision-making in the elections, all approved nominees will be featured in a Candidate Spotlight and participate in a written interview alongside fellow candidates, addressing questions related to their prospective role on the Board. These materials help members get to know the candidates and understand their vision for BCI. Information provided in the nomination form will also be used for these features, and successful nominees will also be asked to provide a professional headshot for use across BCI communications.
We’re proud to see strong engagement from across our global membership. Many nominees bring valuable insights from their local and regional contexts — and that’s a strength. However, it’s important to remember that this is a global Board appointment. Nominees should demonstrate how their experience and vision can contribute to BCI’s international mission, representing and serving the interests of our diverse, worldwide membership. While regional perspectives are welcome, the role requires a global mindset.
Before submitting a nomination, please ensure the nominee meets the eligibility criteria outlined in the BCI Bylaws (Section C2). You’ll be asked to confirm qualifying service and provide key details to help us complete the nominee’s profile.
