7-10New sensors on operational weather satellites are making it possible to develop experimental weather products for the aviation community.  In particular, the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Cloud Cross Section Product provides information on cloud and icing conditions along selected routes crossing Alaska.

Training material on the Cloud Cross Section Product can be found at https://aviation.cira.colostate.edu/aviation-static/quickguide_jpss_viirs_cvc_cira.pdf

This survey has been designed for pilots, forecasters, and flight services personnel to provide feedback on the Cloud Cross Section Product directly to the JPSS Science Team. Your help in evaluating these products is critical to enhance accuracy and utility of this Product.

Your responses will remain anonymous, however you will have the opportunity to provide your name and contact information so scientists will have the opportunity to ask you follow-up questions if needed.

The survey should take 7-10 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey!
