There has been a round of update meetings this week however, we are aware that not all members were able to attend, as such we havre generated this survey to ensure your voice is heard!

Please see below dot points which detail the offer;

Council's Offer:

  • Redundancy entitlement - Reducing the redeployment period from 8 weeks to 4 weeks will result in a potential loss of possible redeployment opportunities;
  • Casual Employment- Right to request to convert extended from 6 months to 12 months. This would an additional 6 months prior to a casual employee being able to convert to a permanent employee.

Improvements
  • Service Recognition Day - Additional day after 10 years continuous service;
  • Superannuation on unpaid portion of maternity leave - $300   once off payment (pro rata for part time staff);
  • Bereavement leave - Increase to 4 days.

Wording changes
  • Personal leave clause to reworded - No loss or improvement to condition;
  • On - Call Availability & Standby - Rewording with no loss or improvement to condition.
