Proposed Ambulatory Model of Care for Rehabilitation

Earlier this year work was undertaken to develop models of care for rehabilitation services within Central Adelaide LHN. A consultation paper released on 7 December 2015 described the future models of care at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) for patients requiring rehabilitation for brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and for general rehabilitation, and a summary of the consultation feedback provided to staff via a CE Check on 16 April 2016.

The feedback recommended the development of a model of care for ambulatory rehabilitation services. A multidisciplinary working group was established to work with clinicians, consumers and peak bodies to develop a proposed model. The outcome of this work - the Ambulatory Service Proposed Model of Care is now available for consultation.

We appreciate your feedback.
