At Christian Doulas of Michigan, we serve families with Christ-centered care rooted in love, truth, and compassion. Our network is made up of Spirit-filled doulas from various Christian traditions who agree on the core tenets of the Christian faith. The following beliefs are foundational to our ministry and are affirmed by every doula listed on our website.
What We Believe
• We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing in three persons.

• We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and will return in glory.

• We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone—not by our own works. Believers are called to live lives of holiness, love, and obedience, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

• We believe the Holy Spirit is active and present today—guiding, comforting, convicting, and equipping believers for spiritual growth and service.

• We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. It is trustworthy for teaching, correction, and direction in every area of life and faith.

• We believe that life begins at conception and that every human being is made in the image of God, with inherent value and dignity. We are committed to honoring and protecting life in all stages of pregnancy and birth.

• We believe God created humanity male and female in His image, and that each person is uniquely loved, known, and purposed by God.

A Note on Theological Diversity
Each doula featured on our site has been personally interviewed and has agreed to this Statement of Faith. While we all share these core beliefs, we recognize that doulas may come from different denominational backgrounds and may hold varying views on secondary theological issues. We encourage families to have open, respectful conversations with doulas to find the best fit for their needs and values.
