The AAPCA1 Advocacy Committee aims to use the collective voices of pediatricians to pursue policy that serves the best interest of the child and their well being. Some of our efforts include:
  • Providing education and opportunities for our members to develop and practice advocacy
  • Keeping members informed of and encouraging participation in local, state and national legislative advocacy
  • Coordinating strategic advocacy campaigns in collaboration with members and chapter leadership
  • Advancing health equity
