Everyone in Johnson County is impacted in some way by the issue of safe, stable, attainable housing. The Task Force will use a broad range of experiences, perspectives, interests, and motives to build comprehensive community support for the implementation of housing strategies.
Safe, stable, attainable housing is vital for all residents. We recognize the impact on residents varies and want to ensure those most directly affected including low-income and poor residents, fixed-income residents, residents with mental health issues, uninsured residents, people of color, residents experiencing homelessness, and our workforce are represented on the Task Force. UCS will be working to ensure that the most impacted residents in our community have an essential role.
The Task Force will Kick-off with a Zoom meeting in October followed by Online Activities and Information for you to engage in before the Task Force Workshop Meetings take place - January through April 2021.
Your information is confidential and will not be used for any other purpose than to make sure we have assembled a Task Force representing our community.
