Background
"Rethinking Mobility" is a strategic planning effort currently underway within the City of Walnut Creek, to reduce automobile trips and manage parking demand while enhancing access for those walking, biking, and using public transit.
The recently released Strategies Report (available at www.rethinkingmobilityWC.com) outlines a broad menu of the potential ways that the City can achieve its mobility goals. A shortlist of these strategies will be selected for inclusion in the final Rethinking Mobility Implementation Plan.
This survey is intended to help narrow the list of strategies under consideration and obtain your feedback on prioritization, and should take about 15 minutes to complete.
Selection of strategies for the final plan will be based on a few criteria, including:
- Ability to make a measurable impact within a 1-5 year time horizon
- Cost effectiveness
- Public, Commission, and Council feedback
