Pinecrest Davis Input

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project as proposed would provide sidewalk, curb and gutter, and pedestrian lighting in the Town of Braselton along Davis Street and Pinecrest Lane. On Davis Street between Pinecrest Lane and Keys Drive, the proposed improvements would include new 24-in curb and gutter, a closed drainage system, a 6-ft sidewalk, and pedestrian lighting on the north side of Davis Street for approximately 2,150-ft.  With 35-ft between the edge of pavement and the Right of Way (ROW) line, no ROW or easements are expected to be required on this segment of Davis Street. On Pinecrest Lane between Davis Street and SR 124 the proposed improvements would include new 24-in curb and gutter, a closed drainage system on both sides of the street, and a 6-ft sidewalk on the west side of Pinecrest Lane, for a total of 1,290-ft.  With 12-ft between the edge of pavement and the ROW line, there is enough ROW to accommodate the sidewalk and curb and gutter, however grading, drainage, and driveway tie-ins will likely require easements.
