Alserkal Advisory x GCDN Global Co-commission PreInstall Survey - Muhannad Shono's 'A Forgotten Place'

This January, Alserkal Advisory will open Muhannad Shono’s commission for GCDN x Alserkal Global Co-commission titled 'A Forgotten Place' in the pedestrian entrance of Alserkal Avenue. The work was inspired by observations of feral plant ecologies that go unnoticed yet thrive around Al Quoz. Utilising the condensation runoff from AC units, the commission uses what would otherwise go to waste to support the growth of native and persistent plant species in hostile urban environments.
