Joe Smith has over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry. As Director of Digital Transformation at RBC, he is a member of the senior management team responsible for setting and overseeing the bank’s digital strategy including research and innovation.

Prior to joining RBC, Joe held progressively senior technology and marketing related roles with Accenture, Manulife Financial and Scotiabank.

Joe holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University. He is a certified Project Management Professional and holds an Advanced Executive Certificate in Innovation and Technology from MIT Sloan.
