Utah State Parks, in coordination with the Bureau of Reclamation, has completed a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) to determine the environmental impacts of potential upgrades to recreation facilities at six Utah state parks. Additionally, this study is considering re-establishing a state park at Lost Creek Reservoir in Summit County.

The state parks under consideration are:
  • Deer Creek State Park
  • Jordanelle State Park
  • Red Fleet State Park
  • Rockport State Park
  • Willard Bay State Park
  • Lost Creek State Park
