Clinical Longitudinal Immersion in the Community (CLIC) Program
Welcome to the UConn School of Medicine (SoM)!
During your first three years of medical school, you will spend a half day each week with a community physician preceptor who works in a Primary Care (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics) or subspecialty office. This allows you to apply what you're learning in basic science classes in an actual medical practice under a physician preceptor’s supervision. This program uses the acronym "CLIC" and stands for Clinical Longitudinal Immersion in the Community.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Students begin CLIC around the third week of medical school. We're looking forward to meeting you in a few weeks!
Please complete the survey no later than Friday, July 17th.
Thank you,
Dr. Jaclyn Jaeger, Nicole Szwelicki & Rasy Mar
