WiC is a representative group of female members of Master Electricians Australia (MEA) from jurisdictions around Australia where MEA has a presence.
WiC is a channel for women within the industry to share, support and network providing a program of events that offer opportunities for women to engage, educate and build personal connections within the industry.
By forming a committee of women that have on ground experience, we can best tailor our WiC events and Power Hour webinars to target topical issues and concerns that women in the industry are facing.
The WiC Committee will be made up of two MEA members from each jurisdiction, any MEA member identifying as female may nominate to sit on the WiC Committee. If more than two nominations are received an election will be held. Once the committee representatives have been appointed the WiC Committee will determine by majority vote at its first meeting the Chair of the WiC Committee. This Committee will be supported by MEA Staff.
