We, the undersigned, object to the housing proposals on the Land North of Meadow Way/Ramsey Chase in Latchingdon. Residents have raised concerns about:
- Estate roads not designed for construction vehicles and adding to difficulties entering/exiting Ramsey Chase
- Child safety with the site entrance very close to the school and further parking pressures
- Increased flood risk, drainage and surface water problems
- Loss of wildlife habitat, protected species and green space
- Extra strain on stretched services and local infrastructure
- Increased noise and pollution, negatively affecting nearby residents’ daily lives
- Cumulative impact of multiple developments, affecting rural village character and the wider Dengie area
