The Parents' Association (PA) relies on the generous support of many volunteers throughout the course of the year.

PARENT AMBASSADORS
Do you enjoy meeting and engaging with new people? Have you found yourself talking to perfect strangers about the joys of being a Campbell Hall parent? If the answer to these questions is yes, we would love to have you help us out with admissions events. Parent Ambassadors assist the Admissions office with a variety of events throughout the year including; weekday admissions group tours, Saturday Admissions Open House events, evening calls to applicant families to answer questions, weekday/evening and Saturday parent panels and more! Your commitment can be as limited or as extensive as you choose. All you need is a positive attitude and a desire to help out, and the Admissions staff will provide assistance and training for everything else.

SPIRIT CLUB
Organize volunteers to provide snacks and drinks at designated home games, meets, Spirit Days, and Homecoming to build Viking pride. Volunteer time: 2-3 hours per designated sports event.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAM PARENT
Work with the Spirit Club to organize snack/drink schedules for team games, plan the end-of-season team party, and encourage parents to build Viking pride. This is ideal for parents of athletes. Volunteer time: hours vary depending on sport/season.

HIGH SCHOOL TEAM PARENT

CH FUND COMMITTEE - GRADE LEVEL REP
The Campbell Hall Fund (CH Fund) is the school's highest fundraising priority and each year, this committee plays an integral role in educating our community about the importance of this annual giving campaign. Class Level Representatives are needed for grades K-12 to help further the annual goal of 100% parent participation. Volunteer time: 2-3 hours of training, with the remaining time reserved for making phone calls and sending emails.

SEASONAL DECORATING COMMITTEE
Join fellow parents in decorating the CH campus for various holidays including Halloween and the Winter holidays. Volunteer time: 3-4 hours, twice per year.

PARENT PHOTOGRAPHERS + VIDEOGRAPHERS
Lend a hand to capture student performances, sporting events, and daily school activities, and assist with the school year-end video. Volunteer time: Flexible.

ELEMENTARY CLASS COORDINATORS
Working under the leadership of the PA vice presidents, two class coordinators per grade are liaisons between the parent body and Campbell Hall’s faculty and staff. Produce potlucks, help with classroom crafts, communicate with grade level families, and coordinate parent volunteers for science lab, computer lab, art class projects, and field trips. These positions are filled in the spring for the following school year (2017-2018). Volunteer time: Varies from grade to grade.

SECONDARY (MIDDLE SCHOOL + HIGH SCHOOL) ACTIVITIES VOLUNTEERS
Working under the leadership of the PA vice presidents Activities Volunteers are liaisons between the parent body and Campbell Hall's faculty and staff. They help with numerous events held during the school day throughout the year. Volunteer time: Varies from grade to grade.

UNIFORM EXCHANGE
The Uniform Exchange sells “gently used” Campbell Hall uniforms for a nominal amount. Help gather and organize items to be sold as well as help with sales on the morning of the exchange. Volunteer time: 5 hours, three times a year.

SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE "THE GREEN TEAM"
Help CH coordinate and execute K-12 initiatives related to environmental stewardship and eco-friendly sustainability. Volunteer time: 3-4 hours, three times per year.

MERRY MAILERS
Help CH by stuffing envelopes for various coordinated mailings. Volunteer time: as needed.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION COUNCIL
Composed of parents, guardians, students, faculty, staff, and administrators who come together to discuss issues and plan activities related to the many aspects of diversity represented on campus. Volunteer time: 4 meetings a year.

AFFINITY FAMILY ORGANIZATIONS
The Affinity Family Organizations are led by family members/guardians and supported by faculty and administrators. The current organizations — The Heritage Families, Korean Parent Association, and La Familia (please select group below you are interested in joining) — were founded based on parent interest and are open to all K-12 families that are interested in participating. Our Affinity Family Organizations not only create opportunities for K-12 families of common heritage to come together, but also welcome all families interested in participating. Campbell Hall is open to supporting other organizations families may be interested in starting.

PA LIAISON TO AFFINITY FAMILY ORGANIZATIONS
Supports the Heritage Families, La Familia and the Korean Parent Association with event coordination and communications in their goals of connecting K-12 families and promoting multicultural awareness on campus. Volunteer time: approximately 5 hours a month.

VIKINGCARE
As a close knit community, our goal is to support any CH student, family or faculty member going through a crisis. To insure that each individual's needs are met with the appropriate level of care, concern and respect, the Vikingcare committee reports in on needs as well as coordinates with the co-chairs to provide necessary carpools, food and/or hospital and funeral visits.

YES! OUR GRANDPARENTS MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE GRANDPARENTS' COMMITTEE
There are many ways grandparents can be involved at Campbell Hall and in the lives of their grandchildren. They are invited to grandparent-specific events such as movie screenings, special chapels, and Grandparents’ Day. There is also a CH Grandparents’ Committee that meets on campus five times throughout the year to help with various events such as appreciation luncheons and the All-School BBQ. * COMMUNITY OUTREACH

OUTREACH COMMITTEE
Responds to the needs of the broader community by helping with events both on and off campus such as two blood drives, Big Sunday, and food and clothing drives for M.E.N.D., North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, and Hillsides Home. Volunteer time: Varies per activity.

ELEMENTARY OUTREACH GIFT FAIR (OGF)
Provide opportunities for the parent community to support charitable organizations the school has developed relationships with. Parent volunteers collect monetary donations. Volunteer time: 1 hour in the morning during the week before or the week after Thanksgiving.

ELEMENTARY PROSPECTIVE DAYS
Set up and clean up refreshments for Saturday Admissions Open House event held in October as well as Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day held in March. Volunteer time: 1-4 hours per event.

SECONDARY PROSPECTIVE DAYS
Set up and clean up refreshments for two Saturday Admissions Open House events held in September and November. Volunteer time: 1-4 hours, twice a year.

PARENT HOSPITALITY (PARENT EDUCATION + PARENTS' ASSOCIATION MEETINGS)
Assist the chairs in providing light refreshments for PA meetings and Parent Education events. Volunteer time: varies, 9 meetings a year. A commitment is not needed for all events. Time can be divided up between various committee members.

COLLEGE COUNSELING HOSPITALITY
Provide light refreshments for both morning and evening College Counseling parent meetings, the College Counseling Boot Camp in early August and assemble goodie bags throughout the year for visiting college representatives. Volunteer time: Approximately 2 hours per event, about 16 hours per year, but time can be divided up amongst various committee members.

ELEMENTARY FACULTY + STAFF APPRECIATION
Provide food for events as a way of saying “thank you.” There are usually 3 events per year including Winter Holidays, Valentine’s Day, and Elementary Back-to-School Night.

SECONDARY FACULTY + STAFF APPRECIATION
Provide a lunch dish three times throughout the year for middle school and high school faculty and staff as well as a dinner dish for high school faculty and staff on Back-to-School Night.

ELEMENTARY PERFORMING ARTS HOSPITALITY
Provide food for our performers; help with costumes, hair/makeup touch-ups, and photography, and help to keep everyone organized and on cue. Volunteer time: 2 hours per performance.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS HOSPITALITY
Provide food for our performers; help with costumes, hair/makeup touch-ups, and photography, and help to keep everyone organized and on cue. If you prefer being front stage, volunteers are needed for ticketing, distributing programs and selling concessions before the performance and during intermission. Volunteer time: 2 hours per performance.

* SPECIAL EVENTS

BAGPIPER'S BALL COMMITTEE
Our largest annual fundraising event needs volunteers for all areas of the event including securing auction donations, tribute book ad sales, helping with event decor, opportunity drawing, and general administrative needs. Volunteer time: 2-3 hours per month, January through May.

GOLF & TENNIS CLASSIC COMMITTEE
Help with the planning and execution of our annual Golf & Tennis Classic, a long loved CH tradition. Volunteers solicit for sponsorship, advertising, and ticket sales. Volunteers also help the day of the event with set up, promoting the opportunity drawing, greeting our golf & tennis players, and more! Volunteer time: 3-5 hours per month, June through October.

PARTY BOOK COMMITTEE
Brainstorm ideas for Party Book parties (which are fundraisers to benefit financial aid though the CH Fund) and support/promote the events. Attending and hosting Party Book parties is a great way to get to know CH families. Volunteer time: 2-3 hours per month.

SECONDARY PARENT SOCIALS
Help plan, set up and clean up refreshments for our much-loved secondary school parent socials, which occur throughout the school year in the evening (one Parent Social per grade). Volunteer time: 3-4 hours the evening of the event. If interested in volunteering, please do not sign up for your child's grade as you will attend those grade level events as a guest.

BACCALAUREATE LUNCEHON
11th grade parents traditionally organize this lovely luncheon for soon-to-be-graduates and their families immediately following the Sunday Baccalaureate Service on the day before Graduation. Current 11th grade students receive community service hours to help set up, serve, and clean up after the luncheon. Volunteer time: approximately 10 hours of planning and 6 hours day of event (June 11).

GRAD NIGHT COMMITTEE
12th grade parents help plan the annual tradition that the graduating seniors celebrate together, typically the Friday night before the graduation in June, usually from about 5pm - 2am. The venue and activities vary from year-to-year and are always a surprise to the students! This committee, comprised of about 25 parents, work with CH allocated funds and a budget to plan and execute the entire evening. Additional parents are needed the night of the event to chaperone.
