APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please note that you cannot save your progress in this application. We encourage you to save your responses in a separate document to ensure you don't lose your work.
 
We are excited to offer four different weeks of Learning to Lead™ in 2021 (dates below). Please note that successful applicants are selected to attend one of the program weeks. Students are welcome to apply to any of the program weeks. There is an increased chance of being selected if you are able to attend any of the four program weeks. 

As part of this application process, you will be required to upload a letter of support of no more than 500 words provided by your nominating sponsor (e.g., a teacher, guidance counselor, coach) outlining how you have demonstrated the following criteria:
- Independent thought
- Taking on and overcoming challenges
- Desire to contribute to a better world

Please have this document ready to attach (in a Word or PDF file) before you fill out this application form.

Acceptance
Acceptances will be made on a rolling basis. Get your application in early to save your spot!
All applicants will be informed of selections by mid-April. Confirmation of participation is required by late April.

2021 Program Dates
- Week 1: May 3-7
- Week 2: May 10-14
- Week 3: May 17-21
- Week 4: May 31-June 4

All sessions will be from 6-8:30pm PST. Please note that in order to participate, you must be able to attend all five days of the program week. This is an invitation to fully devote five evenings to your own learning, growth, and fun!

The ongoing process of truth and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples is an integral part of all of Minerva BC’s work. Opportunities for conversation about this process as well as the complex nature of the intersectionality of diversity is an integral part of the Learning to Lead™ program. All participants are asked to enter these conversations with an open and respectful heart and mind.
