We now have over 100 University based Orthopaedic programs and 470 participating members in the AOC (almost half of our members are now orthopaedic chairs, vice chairs, and division chiefs).  The breadth and depth of genius that exists across the AOC is truly incredible....and this is, without a doubt, our most valuable asset.  But are we truly optimizing this genius appropriately?

Access to each other... and to "best practice" ...to help us process more clearly and to have context for options on how to move forward... and what pitfalls to avoid...is worth its weight in gold.

One of the AOC's #1 missions this year is to operationalize initiatives based on YOUR feedback where you asked for: 1) ability to contact other members; 2) more mentorship opportunities; 3) more educational content/analysis during the year. We are finalizing AOC infrastructure now to provide ALL of this to improve the national landscape for academic administrative leadership performance via increased efficiencies/best practice.
