Introduction
What is this survey about?
Elmbridge Borough Council is considering investing in improvements to three local green spaces:
1. Lower Green Recreation Ground
2. Littleheath Recreation Ground
3. George Froude Park
The Council has asked Alma Economics, an independent research organisation, to find out what local people think about these green spaces and the activities or improvements they would like to see in the future. Your answers will help inform the Council’s decisions about possible improvements at the three sites.
What will you have to do to complete the survey?
We will ask you about:
· How you currently use local public spaces.
· What you like and dislike about them.
· The activities you currently do, or would like to do, in these spaces.
· Anything that makes it difficult for you or other people to use them.
· Your ideas about how the spaces could be improved in the future.
At the end of the survey, we will ask for some background information about you and your household. This will help us understand whether people from different groups have different experiences and priorities.
The survey should take approximately
10-15 minutes to complete.
Do you have to participate in this survey?Taking part is voluntary. It is up to you whether you wish to participate. If you decide to take part, you can choose not to answer any optional questions, and you can stop completing the survey at any time before submitting your responses, without giving a reason. There will be no negative consequences if you decide not to take part or stop completing the survey.
Important information
Once you submit the survey, it will not be possible to withdraw your responses because the survey is anonymous and we will not be able to identify which responses are yours.
The survey will close at 11:59pm on 18th October.
