We’re exploring some changes to how quoting works on Mumsnet, with the aim of making threads easier to read and follow.

We’ve heard from users that long quotes and repeated OP quotes can sometimes make discussions feel cluttered or hard to navigate. So we’re testing a couple of different approaches to see what works best.

What we’re testing

The idea is simple:
We want to understand whether shorter, more streamlined quotes make conversations clearer- and how quoting should work in future.
