This study will investigate the use of smartphones by students in the college classroom. 

You are invited to participate by responding to the following survey.  Should you decide not to participate, or should you decide to discontinue participation at any point in time, you may do so without penalty or prejudice.  The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. 

You will be asked to provide demographic information and answer questions regarding your experiences and perceptions of smartphone usage in the classroom.  No attempt will be made to identify you or your college. 

Completion of the study indicates your informed consent to participate and is voluntary.  Risks of participation in this study are considered minimal and are not greater in and of themselves than the probability and magnitude of harm or discomfort ordinarily encountered in daily life or during the performance of routine psychological examinations or tests.
