Caring for Climate
Caring for Climate was launched by the UN Global Compact, the UN Environment Programme and UN Climate Change to advance the role of business in addressing climate change. Over the years, its annual High-Level Meeting at COP has brought together senior leaders from business, government, finance, civil society and the United Nations for dialogue on accelerating climate action.
The Annual High-Level Meeting of Caring for Climate, will be held on Thursday, 12 November from 3:30-5:00PM.
Attendance criteria
The COP31 meeting will be a closed-door, invitation-only meeting with participation restricted to CEOs and C-suite executives of companies, financial institutions actively engaged in climate action, alongside Government, United Nations and civil society representatives.
We particularly encourage interest from companies with validated science-based net-zero targets and senior representatives who regularly engage with governments.
