Incentive Program - Gelding Stakes Question Title * 1. Did you know that the PCCHA Gelding Stakes is an incentive derived from the Cutting Stakes Stallion Subscription program to give the 3 year old geldings of those stallions an extra purse at the futurity? I knew that! I did not know that. Question Title * 2. Did you know that ALL of the flat fees collected go directly into the Gelding Stakes purses plus a portion of the Cutting Stakes Stallion Subscription Money? I knew that! I did not know that. Question Title * 3. Did you know that once your gelding is nominated and entered into the futurity, he does not have to pay any additional fees to be eligible for the Gelding Stakes Purses? I knew that! I did not know that. Question Title * 4. Did you know that all geldings that are Gelding Stakes eligible get an automatic 2 go rounds at the futurity as long as they mark above a 180? I knew that! I did not know that. Question Title * 5. And that they compete in a separate finals for the separate Gelding Stakes purse that sometimes pays out more than $100,000, as well as still being eligible for the regular Futurity purses? I knew that! I did not know that? Question Title * 6. Would you rather see the Gelding Stakes Sale return or do you feel more comfortable paying a flat fee? Loved the sale, would like to have it again. The flat fee is more my style. Not sure. Question Title * 7. Last year we added a yearling nomination fee in an effort to make the GS program more affordable and available to more people. Do you feel the newer flat fee structure is adequate? Yearling = $500 2 Yr Old = $1500 3 Yr Old to Aug. 31 = $2500 3 Yr Old to show = $3500 That looks great! No. I don't like the structure. Question Title * 8.
