Question Title

* 1. Do you (the business owner and/or applicant) meet the following qualifying criteria?
  • Must be a South African citizen/Own a registered business in South Africa
  • Must be an owner in the business or be authorised to run an e-commerce account on behalf of owners or shareholders
  • Minimum educational qualification: Matric certificate
  • Must have English language proficiency
  • Must have access to an electronic device and internet connectivity for online learning and basic computer literacy
  • Must work full-time in the business or have at least 1 permanent employee actively working in the business
  • Have a product or assortment suitable for sale on Takealot.com.
  • Have the sourcing and/or manufacturing capability to service a national e-commerce business
  • Have a strong desire and commitment to grow their e-commerce business
  • Commitment to complete accredited modules and register for QCTO via GIBS.
  • Full availability for programme dates (May - September 2026)
  • Product dimensions must not exceed 4 metres in any one direction
Preference will be given to:

  • Historically Disadvantaged Persons (HDP).
  • Existing Takealot Sellers/Non-Takealot Sellers
  • Have legitimate trademarked brands or stable of brands
  • Annual Turnover Revenue between R350,000 – R500,000
  • Minimum number of years in business > 12 months
  • Timeously and accurate Submission of evidence of all required documents
