Welcome to JazzSLAM ! We are so excited you are here with us! For questions, contact MARI471@aol.com

The purpose of the brief Pre and Post Oral Quiz is to measure the impact of using jazz/music to support the teaching of academics to 4th-6th graders. PLZ give the quiz BEFORE your students watch JazzSLAM and again AFTER. It can be given as a “heads down on your desk or table and raise your hand if the answer is True."

The program is intended to be offered as an hour long presentation. However, if this does not fit your class scheduling or your students' attention level, please pause it @ 35:40 & show the 2nd half at a later session.  If you need to show it in 3 sessions, begin Session 2 @ 24:30 minutes, then begin Session 3 @ 41:11.

Once your students complete the post-presentation quiz, you will have access to our 18 Post Presentation Lesson Plans w/relevant Common Core Standards and the Teacher's Guide.  (FL teachers, plz note, the 18 Lesson Plans are available w/relevant B.E.S.T. Standards).
