Evaluator Response for Minnesota FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) State Competitive events. |
Thank you for giving some time to our request for evaluators for STAR Events. We have many STAR events and you will be viewing students work from across the state with their submitted videos and portfolios. The participants have advanced from a qualifying level. You can be flexible in your time and work from home. We expect the judging window will be open for 7 days in March 14-21. Evaluators will be contacted, given a category and the rules to follow, rubrics to use, and access to a link for the judging platform to score the student work. Students are in Level 1 (grades 6-8) Level 2 (grades 9-10) and Level 3 (grades 11-12). Evaluators might see a single level or multiple levels. Two or three evaluators will score each entry. Students learn best by receiving comments, so we ask evaluators to gently give feedback and suggestions in a comments section of the rubric.
Each video or file of a individual or team will take about 15-20 minutes to view and score. Each evaluator would see about 5-10 presentations.
