Criteria:
1. Recipient must be selected from the pool of volunteers at Winakwa
2. Recipient should exhibit outstanding
unselfishness, dedication, and the ability to cooperate with other volunteers and people involved with Winakwa Community Centre
3. Special consideration will be given to those nominees showing strong leadership and organizational skills while working harmoniously with their fellow volunteers
4. Volunteer individuals who have, through their time, energies, and efforts, of not less than one year, have achieved a significant single contribution or continuous long-term commitment, of no less than four years, to the improvement and betterment of Community Recreation, Sport, and/Leisure Services at Winakwa’ s community.
5. Volunteer individuals are not eligible to nominate themselves or their relatives
6. Volunteer individuals are only eligible to receive the Bill Powell Memorial Award once in their lifetime.
